MISSION

cross-png-28_edited_edited.png
DEMONSTRATE THE LOVE OF JESUS, TRANSFORM LIVES WITH THE GOSPEL AND TO IGNITE A MOVEMENT OF DISCIPLESHIP.

WHAT DO WE BELIEVE?

THE SCRIPTURES

We believe the Holy Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, inerrant Word of God in its original writings and is fully authoritative for salvation, doctrine, and life. Scripture is clear in what is necessary for salvation and is sufficient to equip God’s people for every good work.

Key Scriptures: 2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21; Psalm 19:7–11; Hebrews 4:12; John 17:17.

HUMANITY & SIN

We believe God created humanity—male and female—in His image to know Him, worship Him, and steward His creation. Through Adam’s sin, humanity fell from original righteousness, and all people are now sinners by nature and by choice, separated from God and under His just judgment. Apart from God’s grace, no one can rescue themselves or earn acceptance with God.

Key Scriptures: Genesis 1:26–27; Romans 3:23; Romans 5:12; Isaiah 59:2; Ephesians 2:1–3.

SALVATION

We believe salvation is by God’s grace alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone. Salvation includes repentance from sin and trust in Christ’s finished work. God justifies sinners by crediting them with Christ’s righteousness, forgives their sins, adopts them into His family, and gives them eternal life. All who are truly born again are kept by God’s power and are called to persevere in faith and obedience.

Key Scriptures: Ephesians 2:8–9; Romans 5:1; Romans 10:9–10; John 1:12–13; 2 Corinthians 5:21; John 10:27–29.

GOD

We believe in one true and living God, eternally existing in three Persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—equal in deity, power, and glory. God is holy, loving, just, all-knowing, all-powerful, and ever-present. He created all things from nothing and sustains and rules over creation with wise providence, working all things according to His good purposes.

Key Scriptures: Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Genesis 1:1; Colossians 1:16–17; Isaiah 46:9–10.

JESUS CHRIST

We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God who became fully human without ceasing to be fully God. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, and proclaimed and embodied the kingdom of God. He died on the cross as the once-for-all sacrifice for our sins, was buried, and rose bodily from the dead on the third day. He ascended to heaven, reigns at the Father’s right hand, and will return personally and visibly to judge the living and the dead and to consummate His kingdom.

Key Scriptures: John 1:1, 14; Philippians 2:6–11; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Hebrews 4:15; Acts 1:9–11; Revelation 19:11–16.

HOLY SPIRIT

We believe the Holy Spirit is fully God and personally present with God’s people. He convicts the world of sin, regenerates and indwells believers, unites them to Christ, and empowers them for holy living and witness. He gives spiritual gifts to the church for its building up and produces His fruit in the lives of believers.

Key Scriptures: John 16:8–11; Titus 3:5–6; Romans 8:9–11; 1 Corinthians 12:4–7; Galatians 5:22–23; Acts 1:8.

THE CHURCH

We believe the church is the body and bride of Christ, made up of all true believers from every nation and generation. The local church is a community of baptized believers who gather for worship, prayer, fellowship, discipleship, and the preaching and teaching of God’s Word. The church is called to proclaim the gospel, make disciples, pursue unity and holiness, and serve in love through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Key Scriptures: Matthew 28:18–20; Acts 2:42–47; 1 Corinthians 12:12–27; Ephesians 4:11–16; Hebrews 10:24–25.

ORDINANCES

Baptism: We believe baptism is an outward sign of an inward reality and a public testimony of faith in Jesus Christ. It portrays our union with Christ in His death and resurrection and is to be administered to believers.

The Lord’s Supper: We believe the Lord’s Supper is a memorial proclamation of Christ’s death and a celebration of our communion with Him and with one another. It is to be observed regularly in a worthy manner, with self-examination and faith.

Key Scriptures: Matthew 28:19–20; Romans 6:3–4; Acts 2:38–41; 1 Corinthians 11:23–26; Luke 22:19–20.

CHRISTIAN LIVING
& SANCTIFICATION

We believe every believer is called to grow in grace through the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit. Christians are commanded to love God and neighbor, pursue holiness, practice spiritual disciplines, and live as faithful witnesses to Christ in family, work, and society. Good works do not earn salvation but are the fruit of a living faith.

Key Scriptures: Romans 12:1–2; Galatians 5:16–25; 1 Peter 1:15–16; John 15:4–5; James 2:14–17.

END TIMES

We believe in the personal, bodily return of Jesus Christ. We believe in the resurrection of the dead and the final judgment. Those who are in Christ will dwell forever with God in the new heaven and new earth, enjoying everlasting life; those who reject Christ will face everlasting separation from God under His just judgment.

Key Scriptures: 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17; John 5:28–29; 2 Corinthians 5:10; Revelation 21:1–4; Matthew 25:31–46.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY & CHRISTIAN UNITY

We believe God alone is Lord of the conscience, and that religious faith must never be coerced by civil or ecclesiastical power. We seek to partner with the broader body of Christ in gospel mission, maintaining unity in essential doctrines, liberty in secondary matters, and charity in all things.

Key Scriptures: Romans 14:4–5, 12–13; Galatians 5:1; 1 Peter 2:13–17; Ephesians 4:1–6; John 17:20–23.
